Ana & Alex found us on Yelp. On a windy and rainy Sunday afternoon, Jen and I met them in Silverlake. Despite the cold weather, the conversation was incredibly warm and we clicked immediately. Alex is a DJ and he is familiar with the way the weddings are and he was hands-on from the get go and I truly enjoyed working with him. They hired us for both their engagement and wedding photography. The following May, we had a lovely Engagement Session in Downtown Los Angeles. Both Ana and Alex were so pleasant to work with. We had a great afternoon together, exploring different areas of this urban jungle on a deserted Sunday evening.
About a month later, it was their big day. First we headed to Los Angeles Historic State Park. This is a brand new park in development by Chinatown neighborhood and while it is still "young", it is a gorgeous gem and it promises to be a very lovely park in the upcoming years.
The reception was at LA River Studios, a lovely urban venue for weddings in the heart of Los Angeles. The lights and that gorgeous "LOVE" sign was all made and designed by Alex and his crew! While I leave you with a few more portraits from the wedding day until next week, I wish Ana and Alex a prosperous, healthy and happy life together!
