I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement session and the wedding of Shawna and John. I had so much fun with them, I decided to share a gazillion of pictures from those two days. They are both Disney fans, and incredibly fun to be around of. We spent a very nice golden hour in and around Balboa Park. They enjoyed the lovely waterfront Ferris Wheel.
Then I took a few photos of them riding their bikes... I fell in love with John's "chopper" bike.
Before we hit the beach to take the pier pictures, I took the requested t-shirt photo.
Then we did the sunset shots.
The wedding took place in one of the gorgeous Orange County venues, The Villa San Juan Capistrano. I had a great time shooting at this authentic location. Let me share you a few details shots. The wedding gown, the wedding rings, the bride's jewelry, the bride's bouquet, the bridesmaids dresses, and a few other personal touches from the couple.

And of course, the beautiful bride getting ready for the ceremony. I also did have some time to shoot some portraits of her (and her bridesmaids) before the ceremony started. We made sure we took advantage of the several different settings of the venue.
Following the ceremony, we gave the couple a few moments alone to enjoy and savor the moment, to freshen up etc. While they were relaxing and grabbing a little bite, I went around and take a few photos pf the bathroom... Yes... The bathroom.
After that, we had some time for their portraits and we truly enjoyed what The Villa had to offer. The couple was so easy to work, we had the chance to try different approaches to wedding photography.
Then it was time for the Grand Entrance, which was immediately followed by the First Dance.
